A career that started in 1968 between great interpretations and great awards.
After studying at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, he made his debut with Paolo Poli, his theatrical mentor.
On TV he has participated with his sketches in cult shows such as NON STOP and AVANCES.
Many film collaborations.
It was directed by some of the greatest Italian directors, such as Massimo Troisi, Carlo Mazzacurati, Ettore Scola, Nanni Moretti, Francesca Archibugi and Paolo Virzì.
In recent years we have admired him among the interpreters of the exciting and moving film "18 Regali" by Francesco Amato, in the film by Simone Godano: "Marylin ha gli occhi neri" and on TV in the Mediaset series "Fosca Innocenti" directed by Fabrizio Costa .
In his career he has been nominated several times for the main awards of Italian cinema such as: David di Donatello, Nastri d'Argento, Globo d'oro and Ciak d'oro, winning a Globo d'oro as best male leading and a Nastro d'Argento for best supporting male role.
