Fabio Balsamo

Fabio Balsamo was born in Casalnuovo di Napoli in 1989. He's mainly known as a member of the beloved ensemble The Jackal, but his artistic journey also includes theater, cinema, and TV, with important collaborations and artistic experiences with Maurizio Casagrande and Massimiliano Gallo. Mainly known as a comic actor, Fabio's artistic repertoire is vast and includes classical theater as well as contemporary and dramatic theater. In fact, he has a degree in Dramatic Arts with honors from Università Popolare dello Spettacolo; he went on to study dubbing and singing. In 2015, he debuted on the big screen with "Babbo Natale non viene da Nord" directed by Maurizio Casagrande. He appeared in various theater productions like "Sei personaggi in cerca d'autore", "Macbeth", and "Salomé". In 2017, he starred in one of the first The Jackal movies: "AFMV - Addio fottuti musi Verdi". He appeared again in the 2020 movie "7 ore per farti innamorare", Giampaolo Morelli's directorial debut. In 2020, with his friend and colleague Ciro Priello, he appeared on Massimo Ranieri's show "Qui e Adesso" on Rai3. In July 2021, together with The Jackal, he starred in "Europei a Casa The Jackal" on Raiplay. With his fellow ensemble talents, he was one of the voices on "Biscotti's - Storie dell'Internet", the second The Jackal podcast in partnership with Spotify. With The Jackal, in 2021, he was part of the hit Netflix series "Generazione 56k". This year, he'll be on the big screen with "(Im)perfetti Criminali" by Alessio Maria Federici, "Tre di troppo" by Fabio de Luigi, and "Falla girare" by Giampaolo Morelli.
